This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque Welsh hills. It's located right by the Llangollen canal, offering stunning views and easy access to peaceful walks. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with all the basic amenities you need, including TVs slightly bigger than my iPad. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay.
All aspects of this hotel were fantastic and exceeded my expectations.

Staff were loyal, view from our room was wonderful. The highlight was the FABULOUS food. We could see the castle from our window. It was 3 km from Jones the Boats.

The location of the hotel was excellent, it is an ideal place to stay with golf, canal boat trips and other countryside activities close at hand. We had a room with an amazing view over the Vale of Llangollen. All the staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, Patrick especially was exceptional. The food was of a very high standard and better than most hotels we have stayed at. All in all we can't wait to return to this little gem.

Breakfast was lovely and the location. Check in/out was good. Did not eat at the hotel in the evening so cant comment.
No only suggestion was a bit firmer pillows.

We had a fantastic Easter break at a wonderful hotel. the views were breathtaking and the staff were incredibly accommodating. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby countryside and attractions. the food was exceptional, with a great variety of dishes available. the rooms were clean and comfortable, providing us with a much-needed rest after days full of activities.
The building did show its age in certain places, particularly in some of the older sections of the hotel. Some areas could use some modernization and updating.

It was traditional and of a high quality.
The room was lovely (and clean) but could do with an up date - especially the bathroom!

Location and price.
Missed the unlit hotel entrance at night and continued down the country lane, over a bridge and ended up on the canal tow path !! Funny at the time ! Family owned country hotel, so a little querky if your used to chains.
